This is D.O.G.  He is a 1 1/2 year old Bulldog Mix who recovered from a severe heat stroke.  He was tied underneath a tree one morning after a walk for some fresh air.  His owner was alerted to him lying down and panting heavily.  He rushed D.O.G to our hospital.  His temperature was 108 degrees and he was semi-comatose.  Emergency treatment consistedof a cool water spnge bath, intravenous fluids, antibiotics and oxygen by facemask.  He almost didn't make it, but after 2 days of intensive care hospitalization he was able to go home, wagging his tail!
