C. Marie Svidron
Certified Veterinary Technician
Marie graduated from St. Petersburg College as a Certified Veterinary Technician in June 2001, and joined our team in July 2003. She has been involved in veterinary medicine all of her life and followed in her mothers footsteps by becoming a CVT. She began volunteering at a veterinary hospital when she was in sixth grade. Marie has one dog Diesel and three cats Zachary, Brooke and Mayhem. She resides in Cape Coral with her son Cole.
Jennifer Sullivan
Veterinary Technician
Jennifer is a Minnesota native and a 1995 graduate of North Dakota State University with a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys gardening and traveling. She lives in Cape Coral with her husband, two dogs and four cats. She joined our team in 2007.
Jennifer Kitley
Veterinary Technician
Jennifer joined our AMC team December 2002. Jennifer hopes to become a published author someday. She is originally from Illinois and moved to Florida in 2002. She and her husband, Jason, have four cats Jade, Short Bus Jett, and M*A*S*H, three dogs Vito, Patches and Diva, and a bird Knucklehead.
Anna Dyess
Veterinary Technician
Anna joined our AMC team in 2001. She has Birdie and Maggie (Beagle mixes), four German shepherds, and three cats, Tapeworm, Hookworm, and Ringworm. She is married to John and has a daughter, Emma.
Valene Dones
Veterinary Technician
Valene joined our AMC team in November of 2004. She has two dogs Coquita and Sara. She is the proud mother of a daughter named Jahlene, born August 4, 2004 and a son named Alex who was born on April 30, 2007.
Sarah Hovind
Veterinary Assistant
Sarah joined our AMC team in October of 2009. She moved to Lehigh from Naples in July 2009. She currently lives with her mom, step dad, and a spoiled pitbull mix named Simba.
Cyndy Leslie
Pet Resort Assistant
Cyndy was a long term client and joined our team in 2005 to help care for all of our four legged guests. She has five daughters and four grandchildren. She grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. After marrying, she worked in a nursing home as a nurse assistant, then a physical therapy assistant, then finally in medical records. She loves cooking (and does an awesome job at it), sewing, crocheting and chocolate. She takes amazing care of all our four-legged guests.
Janet Bernier, ORT
Technician
Janet joined our team in June 2005. She moved here from Auburn, Indiana. She had worked in human operating rooms for 15 years before moving into the veterinary field for 9 years. She has been married for over 15 years. She has three dogs Dayla, Tizzie and Rave. She enjoys showing her dogs, especially in Agility, Obedience, Tracking and Hunt tests. She is very knowledgeable about training and behavior issues.
Katie Leslie
Pet Resort Assitant
Katie joined our AMC team in July 2007. Katie was born and raised here in Lehigh, however, she has family in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and California as well. Her mother is a member of the Pet Resort staff here at the AMC and her father is a potato farmer at Troyer Brothers, and they've been happily married since July 1976. She is a student at Lehigh Senior High (class of 2009) and a member of the National Honor Society. After she graduates she plans to go to college. She is the youngest of 5 sisters. She has an adorable black and white kitty which was adopted from the AMC in December 2006. She loves working with animals, going shopping, the beach, country music and anything that involves the country.
