Riley
March 2008 Pet of the Month

This is Riley after his procedure fully awake.
Riley is a 6 month old rabbit that was brought to the AMC for his neuter.  Below are some pictures of his procedure and what is happening.

  This is Riley getting weighed so that he can have the correct dose of pain medication.


Pictured above is Marie monitoring Riley under anesthesia.  He is attached to the Electrocardiogram (EKG) to monitor his heart and the  blood pressure machine to make sure his blood pressure doesn't drop.  He is also attached to the respiratory monitor to count how many breaths he is taking and his temperature is being monitored so that it doesn't go too low because the colder Riley is the longer it will take for him to wake up from anesthesia.
